Descripción
On the trail of the ancient Roman road, very close to Annecy, there is a place imbued with history and secrets: Talloires Abbey, erected by Benedictine monks in the 17th century. The facades of this splendid Abbey where people come to recharge their batteries (like Cézanne in the past and Jean Reno, more recently) are reflected in the waters of Lake Annecy which guests can reach from the private pontoon and beach. The cloister is home to sumptuously furnished Empire or 17th century-style rooms. The arrival of the new chef Pascal Lognon, two Michelin stars in Japan since 2010, has led to a shift in the cuisine from classic to contemporary with a Mediterranean flourish. It can be enjoyed in fine private dining rooms with views of the lake or from the terraces overlooking the lake.
