This restaurant more than lives up to its name. The decor immerses you in a chic, rustic atmosphere as soon as you cross the threshold. An authentic Alsace residence with exposed beams and a fireplace with a roasting spit, it blends perfectly into the village of Obernai. Seated at a chestnut table without a tablecloth, guests are made to feel totally at home. The starters made from market garden produce are delicious. Thierry Schwartz's disconcertingly simple technique for preparing his market fresh vegetables reveals his remarkable talent. As testimony to his unique approach, the flavours simply flood out.
